Ensure that the lids are securely closed to prevent any wildlife from accessing the trash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Help conserve energy by turning off all lights, appliances, fireplaces, and electronic devices before leaving the cottage. Check that faucets are properly shut off to prevent any leaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Make sure that the cover of the hot tub is correctly in place and its temperature has been set back to 100 degrees in fall and winter, and 95 degrees in the spring and summer months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-During the spring and summer months, please make sure to put the A\/C remote back in the wall bracket and set it to 23 degrees<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Please ensure that all windows and doors are securely closed and locked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Before leaving, take a final walk-through of the cottage to ensure that nothing has been left behind. We don&#8217;t ask you to clean the cottage but simply to tidy up after your stay. This includes doing the dishes, taking out the trash, and stripping the bed. By taking care of these small tasks, you help us ensure that the cottage remains in pristine condition for the next guests, while allowing our cleaning team to focus on thoroughly disinfecting and deep cleaning the property. Additional cleaning fees may apply for non-compliance.<br>Follow the waste sorting guidelines and recycle when possible.<br>Use the hot tub with caution, follow the usage instructions, and make sure to close the cover properly after use.<br>Turn off lights, electronic devices, and heating when they are not needed.<br>The cottages are designed for two people only. We automatically place a <strong>$650 hold<\/strong> on the credit card on file of every guest <strong>two days before arrival<\/strong>. This is not an actual charge but a temporary authorization to ensure coverage in case of damages. The hold is released <strong>within two days after checkout<\/strong>, provided nothing is damaged or broken, the hot tub does not requires a full water change due to misuse and no damage or abnormal cleaning required..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the hold does not go through, we will contact you to provide another credit card.
